Medecision is looking for a Project Coordinator, a passionate power contributor who blends solid planning and communication with proven superb organizational skills. You will be an integral part of our Enterprise Project Management Office, supporting key initiatives for the company and working with leaders and clients. 

 

THIS JOB MIGHT BE FOR YOU, IF…

 

You, as the Project Coordinator, will work on multiple project engagements and SaaS technology and delivery solution projects for both internal and external clients with an understanding of the Medecision platform, client business strategy and operational needs.  You will also support the full project team to drive towards rapid time-to-value, clearly defined benefits realization metrics and world class customer and employee experience.

 

Reports to:  VP Enterprise Project Management or Implementation Program Manager

Location(s): Dallas

Responsibilities

YOU’RE GOOD AT:

  • Organizing project documents, taking detailed notes in meetings, keeping issues logs up-to-date, and coordinating calendars for meeting setups.
  • Should have demonstrated ability to support the development of tools to support the various stages of change management such as communication plans, stakeholder analysis tools, stop-start-continue documentation, training plans, and go live/adoption plans.
  • Updating high-level work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans and budgets under the direction of a project manager. 
  • Understanding the client's business and technical requirements, based on the understanding of the Medecision platform and client's business operation needs.
  • Assisting in developing project work / resource / quality plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Assisting project managers with project meetings and program/project tracking, analysis and management.
  • Ensuring effective communication flow among business process owners, project team members and all IT functions that participate and impact the results of the project development effort. 
  • Managing client relations to ensure that service expectations are developed, managed, and met.
  • Assisting Project Team to address and resolve project and client problems based on the understanding of the Medecision platform and client business operation's needs.
  • Aggressively pursuing opportunities to improve industry knowledge related to the priorities and needs of Medecision's clients as well as improve on personal professional management/leadership development.
  • Contribute and adhere to the Medecision project management toolkit and methodologies, identifying opportunities for improvement and executing on improvement suggestions.

KEY PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES and BEHAVIORS

  • Knowledge and ability to determine and satisfy client needs and maintain a partnering relationship during engagements; includes influencing, communicating, presenting, facilitating, managing and developing others.
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply project management principles to initiate, plan, execute, control and close multiple initiatives/engagements.
  • Understanding of the issues related to the decision-making process; ability to analyze situations fully and accurately, and reach productive decisions.

Qualifications

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences, Computer Science or Business.  
  • A desire to work toward becoming a project manager.
  • Knowledge and experience with enterprise SaaS application implementation approaches is desired.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com and/or Financial Force administrative functions is highly desired including managing security profiles, access rights for users, configuring and building custom reports and dashboards, creating, editing and deleting custom fields and settings, creating workflow rules, and creating custom page layouts and record types.
  • 0-2 years of experience in healthcare delivery or payer organization, MSO or ACO, or HIT vendor supporting PHM in a project coordinator manager capacity.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and exciting environment.
  • High-energy, creatively-driven, hard-working and an inspiring innovator.

  • Ability to sift through details quickly and determine what’s important.
  • Strong and focused team player and a consensus builder.  
  • Ability to articulate customer needs and Medecision delivery capabilities to expedite time to value.
  • Willingness to support project teams in performing any necessary administrative tasks as required with a positive and customer service oriented approach.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% (Client and Medecision meetings).
