Medecision is looking for a Training & Instructional Design Specialist, a passionate self-directed contributor who blends solid presentation and design skills with proven healthcare software training experience.




You, as the Training & Instructional Design Specialist, thrive on helping client-facing teams meet their business goals and helping new employees onboard fast. You excel at partnering with stakeholders and subject matter experts to design, develop, and facilitate live and online training content. You’ve got experience in the healthcare IT space you’re yearning to leverage. And you love creating eye-popping visual content and impactful learning experiences with e-learning and multimedia software.


This key role involves both content creation and graphic design, across live classroom, vILT workshops, and e-learning formats. Be ready to show us your best content and presentation design work for e-learning and live workshops.


Reports to: Director, Product Training

Location(s): Wayne, PA or Dallas, TX




  • Writing clear and memorable training content – as you partner with subject matter experts and stakeholders to explain complicated stuff in a simple way
  • Creating a range of training formats – including e-learning and software simulation (via Storyline, Captivate), slides and support materials for live workshops and virtual webinars, storyboards, and video repurposed from vILT sessions
  • Evaluating evolving training needs and updating or repurposing training materials – while you ensure crisp design and error-free content
  • Managing multiple projects and deliverables – under limited time constraints in a fast-changing environment




  • BA/MA in Instructional Design, Communication, Education, Writing or related degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to communicate complex technology clearly and simply
  • Proficiency creating storyboards and mock-ups and gaining buy-in with stakeholders
  • A graphic designer’s chops and a proof reader’s eye for detail
  • 5+ years designing and developing interactive e-learning and blended learning solutions incorporating eye-popping graphics, audio, video, and text – especially for software training
  • Experience with population health software and/or the healthcare market
  • Understanding of adult learning theory, assessments, and learning metrics
  • Proficiency with presentation and multimedia development tools like Captivate, Storyline, After Effects, WebEx, etc.
