Medecision is looking for a Senior Implementation Clinical Consultant, a passionate power contributor who blends solid population health, care, or case management consulting and training skills with proven expertise in health management and the associated delivery of value-based care solutions.




You, as the Senior Implementation Clinical Consultant, have the desire to make a difference in people’s health with each customer engagement! Your background in providing care and training, coupled with an understanding of technology and best practices related to population health management and care coordination will be heavily relied upon. You will have the opportunity to collaborate and consult routinely with internal and external customers in a way that resonates with them.


Reports to:  Senior Implementation Program Manager

Location(s): Dallas, Philadelphia or Remote



  • Reviewing customers’ current state clinical workflows and consulting with customers on modifying workflows to maximize the efficiencies of their clinical and business process flows.


    Consulting with customers on business rules, system table, and configuration options and decisions that will support efficient workflows, outcomes and business needs.


    Performing risk assessments to address business gaps and ensure selection of optimal solution.


    Collaborating with Business Analysts to elicit, identify and translate business requirements.


    Leading design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate application designs and validate proposed solutions.


    Training and consulting with customers on operational readiness tools.


    Developing and delivering Train-the-Trainer and End User solution training to customers.


    Managing ongoing relationships with customers to drive satisfaction with solution.


    Maintaining knowledge and expertise of new and implemented solutions.


    Self-managing and leading others.


    Partnering with teams across Medecision.


    Exhibiting a high level of initiative and passion to win.



  • Subject-matter expertise in population health management within IDNs, Hospitals, Health Systems, and Government.

  • Experience developing and delivering adult learning programs.

  • Experience with software configuration of CM, DM, UM or Case Management systems and workflows.

  • Understanding of information technology and business concepts.

  • Ability to work on multiple projects and initiatives at one time.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Strong written communication and presentation skills and experience presenting to audiences of all sizes.

  • An active practice of pursuing advances in the clinical arena.

  • The ability to travel on short notice.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences or Science in Nursing required.

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare delivery or payer organization, MSO or ACO.

  • 5+ years’ experience in care management, case management or population health management role.

  • 3+ years of experience with hands-on experience (as RN) in clinical settings.
