    Medecision is looking for a Vice President, Client Partner, a passionate power contributor who blends extensive experience in CMS and/or State Medicaid, solid account management skills with proven experience in engagement strategy.




    You, as the VP, Client Partner, are responsible for cultivating relationships with existing Medicaid and Medicare customers. This individual is responsible for defining strategy, service, delivery and serves as the single point of accountability for his/her designated accounts. This individual will also represent the entire range of company services and solutions to assigned customers while leading the account planning lifecycle and ensuring customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company.


    The leader for this position has successfully led a SaaS-company renewal, account management, and customer success team with experience across high volume customer accounts with high touch requirements. Additionally, this person should have experience with large-scale partnerships and strategic account management. This person thrives on building processes and structure for successful interactions with Medecision customers and executives.     Location(s): Remote




    • Working closely with stakeholders across the enterprise to educate on Medicaid and Medicare business goals.
    • Managing Medicaid and Medicare business development opportunities, including all service and solution delivery to optimize customer value and obtain high customer satisfaction, as measured by CSAT scores, trends and retention
      • Providing project management for all service and product delivery in conjunction with internal delivery teams: Operations, IT, Development, Consulting Services, etc.
      • Developing the project plan, gain approval of each impacted department head (SVP level) and escalate any issues as they emerge to ensure on time, on budget delivery of any customer requirement or commitment
    • Building processes and structure for account management with a focus on making every account as successful as possible, resulting in continued loyalty to Medecision
      • Developing and executing a cross-segment engagement strategy to drive adoption, usage and customer satisfaction
      • Driving revenue through the account management organization by identifying additional locations and upsell opportunities
      • Ensuring retention by achievement of responsibilities
      • Increasing customer value from use and adoption
      • Maintaining high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards, e.g., CSAT
    • Leveraging best practices in client management and technical innovation to ensure maximum retention and growth through appropriate cost and touch models
    • Focusing on customer intimacy to deliver business impact and innovation to a customer’s business by truly understanding our customers’ key business issues and opportunities
    • Coordinating involvement of company personnel, including support, service and management resources to ensure any account issues are resolved quickly
    • Proactively leading joint company-strategic account planning process that develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a 1-3-year period
    • Meeting assigned expectations for profitability, e.g., Account level gross margin target established for each fiscal year; consulting projects or professional services engagements at sales and resource billing level
    • Completing strategic customer account plans that define customer success metrics and are agreed to and approved by the client, e.g., plans should include relationship development, product/service levels, etc.
    • Providing executive oversight and partner communication that embody Medecision values and provide exemplary leadership
    • Establishing productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts



     YOU HAVE:


    • Bachelor's degree. Master’s degree preferred
    • 8+ years of solid work experience in SaaS environment, sales/marketing consulting or the technology sector
    • 5+ years of experience in an account management function (account portfolio planning and prioritization)
    • 3+ years of experience managing a team of account managers
    • Health plan experience, in a Medicare/Medicaid environment
    • Success in consistently delivering growth numbers, producing accurate forecasts, while maintaining a focus on profitability
    • Ability to work independently and in a strong team environment, and to deliver on detail as well as strategy
    • Proven track record working in driving customer adoption and retention
    • Passion for technology and innovation
    • Strong understanding of SaaS and the business benefits
    • Proven experience building and running a business with the right operational skills
    • Driven nature and desire to grow a business
    • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
    • Analytical and negotiation skills, particularly at executive level
