    The Vice President, Corporate Communications is responsible for developing and driving high-impact external and internal communications programs for Medecision to support our brand and market position in current and new target markets. Experience with B2B business models in the healthcare technology services and software industries (SaaS) is required. Experience marketing software products and services to health plans and care delivery organizations to manage the care of their members and patients is highly preferred.

    Responsibilities

    YOU’RE GOOD AT:

     

    • Crystallizing brand, company position and value proposition into compelling architecture, messaging and visuals across a variety of media and for multiple personas and audiences (including team members, clients, prospects, analysts, partners and executive stakeholders);
    • Being a strategic business partner to Executive Team members – partnering to develop and implement a comprehensive brand building, communications and marketing-communications framework driving critical elements of messaging through several separate marcom, PR and digital content strategies and initiatives;
    • Developing enterprise communications framing, message architecture, calendaring and theme development for internal and external audiences, including industry analysts and our customers;
    • Collaborating with other teams (e.g., Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Technical Documentation) to ensure framing translates into content creative direction and messaging that meets the needs of our audiences and markets;
    • Collaborating with Marketing and Product teams on the competitive positioning and messaging platform to support Medecision’s company positioning and that of the Aerial solutions and packages;
    • Evangelizing Medecision and its solutions and offerings to customers, industry analysts, press, and sales representatives;
    • Collaborating with People & Culture to develop a company narrative and communications strategies for employee empowerment and culture improvement
    • Managing external agencies and internal resources in the pursuit of industry thought leadership, appropriate media representation or other communications programs
    • Ensuring alignment of departments in customer–facing processes, initiatives, communications and contact points around an integrated brand and marketing strategy
    • Acting as a gatekeeper to maintain a consistent company image, voice and market position

    Qualifications

    YOU HAVE:

     

    • 10+ years of experience in B2B software marketing or a related field, preferably marketing SaaS solutions to healthcare plans or providers
    • Exceptional communication skills with internal and external influencers, key customers and other stakeholders
    • Excellent presentation skills and an ability to engage audiences
    • Ability to effectively collaborate with others to reach mutually agreeable outcomes
    • Ability to identify key data sources and utilize data driven insights to effectively improve business decisions
    • Experience in a collaborative team environment, delegating workload and responsibilities as appropriate
    • Desire to be hands-on in driving brand initiatives that balances the company’s vision, mission and business priorities
    • Experience in building top talent marketing teams, setting clear direction and managing to high expectations and results
    • Ability to lead and manage large-scale projects
    • Must be able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and have strong organizational skills
    • Demonstrates the capacity to manage changing priorities and ambiguity while remaining calm and controlled
    • Maintains direction and focus through proactive planning and organized approaches to work
    • Demonstrates initiative and resourcefulness
    • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate go-to-market strategy, insights and recommendations to executive, sales and account management stakeholders
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability and desire to partner across the organization, with team members and external agencies
    • Self-directed and self-motivated with a demonstrated strength in planning, organizing and project management skills to meet deadlines; is a master of prioritization and multi-tasking
    • Passion to self-educate and keep up-to-date on the latest healthcare and SaaS trends
    • BA/BS degree, MA in Communications or MBA in Marketing preferred
