    We are looking for a Product Manager, Comparative and Government Program Analytics, a passionate contributor with experience with large comparative databases to design, develop, and deploy a set of analytics to address evolving challenges in healthcare around tracking, comparing performance and outcomes. This individual has expert knowledge related the market needs for comparative analytics for health care organizations to be both competitive and successful, especially in government programs. The individual can take advantage of a person-centric, longitudinal knowledgebase that integrates medical care data with claims data to provide new analytics capabilities, and decision support for clinicians and care teams to achieve the desired outcomes.

    You, as the Product Manager, Comparative and Government Program Analytics, will bring subject matter expertise to define a comparative data platform and data requirements to provide comparative and benchmarking capabilities around clinical, financial and operational metrics relevant to the needs and challenges in the evolving Population Health Management industry. Specifically, the comparative analytic knowledge includes output to address requirements pertaining to the various government programs of Medicare, Medicaid, MSSP, Duals, and various evolving CMS incentive plans.

     

    You will contribute to the overall product delivery, including the requirements on how this product suite integrates into our other solution offerings. You must enjoy spending time solving problems using the latest technical approaches and have a strong understanding of data requirements and capabilities, functional usability, technical design and software development to find innovative solutions that translates to a world-class commercial software product. You will work with internal partners and vendors, who will contribute to the development of data models and analytic capabilities.

    Responsibilities

    YOU’RE GOOD AT:

    • Managing the entire product development lifecycle (PDL) from concept to strategic planning to tactical activities. Working with Engineering to have product input into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
    • Serving as an expert consumer of data to define the kind of requirements that translate to technical and data model requirements to visualize or utilize the clinical information
    • Bringing healthcare analytic products to live through the product life cycle management, including product visioning through development and sales and client support
    • Collaborating with third party partners and internal team members for the development and application of large data sets, statistical and advanced analytics, to drive key business success, specifically client performance and Medecision’s revenue growth
    • Working with team members and associates in a matrix organization structure to define, develop, refine and scale data management and analytics procedures, systems, workflows, best practices and other issues
    • Being a hands-on – not just theoretical expert – practitioner, with well developed, effective communication skills to a business audience, capable of conveying the business benefits and value of comparative data and benchmarking, and statistical modeling

    Qualifications

    YOU HAVE:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences, Computer Science or Business; Masters Degree preferred
    • Minimum of 7+ years’ experience with deep operating expertise within Healthcare IT or Population Health Management within the Product organization, to include a combination of knowledge in the following areas:
      • EMR, related health information systems, claims data streams, third party data sources, such as socio-demographic data and operational data required; IoT data experience, preferred.
      • Health plan, Government MCO, and Provider segments to encompass provider network management, utilization, referrals, authorizations, and alternative payment models such as bundles, ACOs, DSRIP, MACRA.
      • Payer and/or Government workflow solutions.
    • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in the a Product Development Lifecycle Management and Agile software development environment
    • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience with deep analytic programs, working with both identified and unidentified data sources in building comparative analytics, benchmarks and norms; coupled with the following:
      • A strong passion for empirical research and for answering hard questions with data, often collaborating in a matrixed, virtual team culture with coworkers, consultants, and clients.
      • A flexible analytic approach that allows for results at varying levels of precision.
      • Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner.
    • Strong knowledge of current SaaS system architectures and technology stacks, combined with working knowledge of healthcare regulatory, privacy and security standards and how new regulatory requirements will change product requirements
    • Proven leadership experience to manage and empower product teams while executing on product strategy and vision
    • Ability to work in a virtual, matrixed organizational structure that is fast paced, dynamic and exciting environment.
