    Medecision is looking for a Clinical Informatics Analyst, a passionate power contributor who blends solid technical and analytical skills with proven clinical terminology management experience to lead the development of an enterprise-wide semantic network-based terminology system for care management and population health management.

     

     

    THIS JOB MIGHT BE FOR YOU, IF…

     

    You, as the Clinical Informatics Analyst, understand the software development life cycle and have experience with terminology development. You can create and maintain use-case models through discussion with clinical and business users. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and have effective verbal and written communication capabilities. You have strong and detailed organizational skills and can work independently and effectively with internal development teams and stakeholders as well as directly with clients. You have demonstrated your ability to influence others to put harmonized processes and systems in place.

     

    Reports to: Clinical Informatics and Analytics Senior Product Manager

    Location(s): Wayne, PA; Dallas, TX; remote

    Responsibilities

    YOU’RE GOOD AT:

    • Analyzing and evaluating clinical data
    • Working with stakeholders and business owners to identify contents to be standardized
    • Assisting terminologists and developers in the development and deployment of interface or reference terminologies
    • Participating in data mapping projects
    • Planning and shifting workload, working on several projects simultaneously
    • Familiarity and/or experience with Aha! or JIRA is preferred, or similar product roadmap and project management tools
    • Familiarity and/or experience with managing a reference data dictionary using CMT tool (e.g. Health Language LEAP) is preferred

    Qualifications

    YOU HAVE:

    • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Informatics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or relevant experience.
    • A master master’s degree in clinical informatics or equivalent is strongly preferred.
    • 5-10 years’ experience in Clinical or Health Information Management
    • Previous terminology development or implementation within a clinical information system is desirable.
    • Understand the flow of an embedded clinical terminology and how it is utilized in a healthcare information system.
    • Advanced knowledge of database structures and forms within Access, VBA, and SQL.
    • Strong experience leading complex business requirements definition and analysis activities
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and exciting environment.

    • Ability to sift through details quickly and determine what’s important.
    • Strong and focused team player and a consensus builder.
