    Medecision is looking for a General Manager, Government Accounts & Programs, who possesses a highly credible professional profile within healthcare, specifically within the government market landscape. The General Manager is expected to be an active leader defining the government programs, generating new business, and contributing as a critical thought leader and strategic partner for product capabilities to maximize growth for the company and capitalize upon the overall market opportunity.

    You, as the General Manager of Government Accounts & Programs, have a proven track record of successfully establishing and delivering sales targets relative to government business to meet/exceed company objectives. You have an acute understanding of government programs, care management and population health landscape and the opportunities that exist within this marketplace. You are keen on developing strategic sales plans for government accounts and programs that impact market needs, customer satisfaction and sales growth for the organization. You are a strong partner to Product and Engineering teams to ensure the product roadmap consists of Government capabilities that are timely, compliant and market relevant. You are passionate and accountable for product and reporting compliance with government program regulations.

    Responsibilities

    YOU’RE GOOD AT:

    • Defining and evolving the Government Strategy
      • Focusing on needs analysis and services-led selling and engagement as well as the execution and development of best practices and processes.
      • Defining a sustainable and predictable revenue architecture that continuously aligns with the business architecture
      • Creating high-performing teams, leading all aspects of key talent retention, skills development, performance management, and staffing (recruiting, hiring and training).
      • Influencing sales teams’ capabilities of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives.
      • Serving as a key leader throughout the entire sales process including identification, Board and c-suite presentations and overall deal architecture.
      • Partnering with the senior team to define differentiated offerings and go-to-market strategies and predictable achievement of financial metrics
      • Collaborating with marketing to develop brand positioning that articulates the solutions and products portfolio, corporate brand message and value differentiators to customers, peers, teams, prospects, and partners.
      • Crafting sales & marketing strategies to maximize revenue potential from existing and prospective customers
    • Architecting and integrating the Government Capabilities
      • Building plans to market and sell products and services to predictably meet and exceed targets
      • Implementing predictable, repeatable, and scalable sales and marketing processes using data analytics, and a manage a consistent pipeline and forecasting methodology
      • Partnering with IT colleagues to define needs and evolve the “government technology stack” including CRM, digital channels (e.g. web and social), business intelligence, and data management
      • Structuring and managing successful relationships with alliance and channel partners
    • Designing and launching Government Programs
      • Communicating brand positioning and thought leadership to build awareness with customers, industry participants and influencers
      • Driving engagement that optimizes revenue conversion performance
      • Educating and extending Medecision’s knowledge and expertise consistently and promoting the success of government market opportunities
      • Orchestrating and managing key accounts and participate in “must win” deals.

    Qualifications

    YOU HAVE:

    • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in Business or Health Administration preferred.
    • 10+ years of experience in healthcare government markets, with 5 years at the executive level.
    • Demonstrated experience establishing best-in-class platforms for supporting Medicaid Managed Care and Medicare Advantage programs. Substantial experience with government programs including Medicare Advantage, Medicaid fee for service and Managed Medicaid, LTSS, and CMS sponsored incentive programs (STARS, HEDIS, DSRIP, Bundles)
    • Deep industry knowledge and relationships that place you as a recognized market leader.
    • Proven experience successfully leading and managing an organization through the change that is inherent at a fast-growing and constantly evolving company.
    • Demonstrated tenacity in introducing a new market profile into an established environment.
    • Experience delivering a strong strategic vision with the ability to create an innovative service while supporting the vision for the business with an understanding of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
    • Successful demonstration building relationships while managing, influencing, and achieving alignment with direct and matrix resources across a range of differing interests.
    • Must be proficient in understanding of current HCIT platforms in use to manage risk and drive overall health outcomes.
